Tips to Support Healthy Eye Function

Your eyes are one of the most important organs in your body, so it’s important to take steps to ensure their health. Tip 1 — Manage your screen time

Staring at a screen all day can cause eye strain, headaches, and fatigue. This is why it’s important to take frequent breaks from screens throughout the day, even if only for a few minutes. Taking breaks also helps to manage your overall use of digital devices, as research has shown that limiting our time spent on them can have many positive effects on our mental health.[4] Finding activities that don’t involve staring at a screen is important — go outside for a short walk, pick up an old book you’ve been wanting to start reading, or try a mindfulness activity like yoga or meditation. Tip 2 — Maintain a balanced diet
